Resident Evil 2 remake gets new screenshots, trailer featuring Ada Wong

Today, Capcom revealed a new trailer and screenshots from the Resident Evil 2 remake launching on Xbox One and other platforms on January 25, 2022. While the screenshots showcase the dark corridors and gory battles, the trailer features the return of Ada Wong. According to the developer, she'south a mysterious antihero that works for the villains, but besides helps Leon Kennedy. It's an unusual romance.

At the PlayStation E3 2022 reveal, it was unclear if the game was a PlayStation 4 sectional or coming to other platforms. Luckily, we reached out to Capcom and the team provided us with confirmation that Resident Evil two was indeed coming to Xbox One, with Xbox One X enhancements in tow. The Xbox Shop lists Resident Evil 2 as a "4K Ultra Hard disk" title. In an interview with GamingBolt, Capcom Brand Manager Mike Lunn said players besides become a sixty FPS option.

Resident Evil 2 originally launched in 1998 and is considered a cult archetype. The championship features tense exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay that are staples in the series even to this day. For those unfamiliar with the story, players join rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and higher educatee Claire Redfield, who are thrust together by a disastrous outbreak in Raccoon City. The illness transforms the population into mortiferous zombies who just want to kill.
